This interim status page describes what has and has not been evaluated for the GovDOSS™ public website and downloadable capability statement. It is not an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), completed VPAT®, certification, or claim of WCAG or Section 508 conformance.
Evaluation basis and scope
- Revised Section 508 web and electronic-document requirements, including incorporated WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA criteria.
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA used as the current design and testing target for the website.
- Scope: home experience, privacy, accessibility, trademarks, two field notes, and the public capability-statement PDF.
- Evaluation window: August 22–23, 2026. Build baseline: e6c37c2, with the remediation candidate documented in the project working tree.

Evaluation methods
Completed work includes source review, rendered-HTML and accessible-name inspection, representative desktop and 320 CSS-pixel visual review, visible skip-link focus and target checks, PDF structure inspection, PDF text extraction, and rendered PDF review. Automated rules cannot establish conformance by themselves, and the open manual test matrix below has not been represented as complete.
Open manual test matrix
- Complete keyboard-only traversal, including menus, tabs, form validation, focus order, focus return, and focus visibility.
- NVDA with Firefox and VoiceOver with Safari, including landmarks, headings, lists, controls, live status, and diagram equivalents.
- 200% and 400% zoom, text-spacing overrides, portrait mobile reflow, and both contained horizontal control regions.
- Image and gradient text contrast, non-text contrast, reduced-motion behavior, and Windows forced-colors behavior.
- PDF reading order, alternate text, table/list semantics, Unicode fidelity, and screen-reader output.
Known dependencies
- The contact form opens the user's configured email application; successful completion depends on that external software.
- GSA eLibrary, GSA eBuy, and other linked government services are outside GovDOSS™ control and have their own accessibility support.
ACR and VPAT status
No conformance values have been assigned. A procurement-facing ACR should be completed in the current Information Technology Industry Council template only after the web and document test protocols are executed, findings are remediated or qualified, and each criterion has traceable evidence.
